Charlotte's Story

Charlotte loves people, her sister, and chatting (possibly not in that order)! Charlotte is quick to "talk" and will frequently walk around the house, talking to people and animals alike and fully expects a response! Charlotte came to ARPO with her brother, Fritz, and sister, Susie. While she is a very brave girl, she would really prefer to stay with her sister. They act just like siblings-loving and snuggling on each other and then rolling around on the floor wrestling. Charlotte likes EVERYONE-people, other cats, dogs-she hasn't met anyone she doesn't like! Charlotte is spayed and microchipped, uses her liter box, and loves wet food. Charlotte also loves snuggles but is perfectly happy to nap in the middle of the floor if the urge hits, however a fleecy blanket can quickly tempt her to sleep elsewhere and start biscuit making!

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership, Inc - ARPO's Adoption Policy
ARPO does not have a shelter or physical location. All pets are in foster care. Potential adopters must fill out the Adoption Application. An phone or e-mail interview and home visit are required and does not guarantee adoption. We use these as a tool to make a match for both the adoptive family and the pet. Because home visits are done by a member of our all volunteer staff, we limit this to a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis. Lastly, before taking your new companion, a contract must be signed, including the provision that the adopter will provide quality food, shelter, and medical care. You may follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/adoptarpo/ to find out when and where our next adoption events, fundraisers, success stories, as well as hints and tips in pet care.
