Shy? Me? Oh, I was a bashful girl, once upon a time back when I first arrived, but now I’m an old hand – or an “old paw” at this shelter business. I’m Charlotte, a pretty tabby and white girl who came to Paws and Claws from another rescue back in June. I’ve been available for adoption since July, and I’ve seen so many other cats and kittens come and go since then. Why not me? Maybe I wasn’t noticed in those early months, but now I am a friendly, outgoing girl who fancies attention and petting. I often sit by the door of my kennel, eagerly awaiting my turn for exercise. I love swatting balls and stuffed toys around the room and will dash and dart after wand toys. When people pick me up and carry me around, I don’t get squirmy. I’ll be turning 2 years old in May – will I find a home by then? I hope so! Pet me! Play with me! Adopt me!
