Charlie's Story

At barely 8-years-old, Charlie is a youngster for Laps and Naps. He came to us when his dad suffered a medical crisis and the family needed to go to another town for treatment.

Charlie was adopted from a shelter as a kitten and has always been shy and timid. He is not a fan of dogs, but got along with a younger cat in the house. Charlie is a very quiet cat and needs a quiet, low-stress home to chill out in.

In his foster home, he spent much of his first month under the bed and that is still his "go to" spot when there is activity in the house. After eight weeks in his foster home, he is actively coming out to seek attention and likes to be brushed. He enjoys chasing wand toys and has the quietest little voice that you wouldn't know he said anything unless you saw his lips move.

Charlie needs a gentle, patient person who will allow him to blossom on his schedule.
