Charlie's Story

This sweet stray boy was found with a severe laceration that went all the way around his neck. It’s the kind of injury no animal should ever have to endure, and yet Charlie did—quietly, bravely, and still trusting humans.

Charlie was rushed to an emergency vet for immediate, lifesaving care, and he’s now under the care of a local veterinarian for ongoing wound treatment and follow-up care. His road to healing won’t be quick or easy.

Right now, we don’t know how much Charlie’s care is going to cost—but what we do know is that we can’t do it without your help. Every donation, every share, every bit of support makes a real difference for him.

Through all of this pain and uncertainty, Charlie has remained an incredibly sweet, loving cat. He leans into kindness, purrs through care, and reminds us exactly why we fight so hard for animals like him. 🤍

As Charlie continues to heal, we will also need a foster who is familiar with ongoing wound care—someone patient, gentle, and experienced who can help him recover in a safe, loving home.

Charlie survived the unthinkable—now he needs a community to carry him the rest of the way. 🐾
