Charlie's Story

Charlie is a big boy at 17 lbs and a huge lovebug. Definitely a lap kitty and he is quick to ask for pets/cuddles. Charlie needs a home with no young children -- he is a very sweet, loving boy but he lost his home of 3 years after an incident of redirected aggression. He was aroused when he saw a cat outside the window and when the young child in the home mocked his low growl sound, he misdirected his frustration onto the child. Heartbreaking situation that left the child fearful and his family in tears and heartbroken to surrender him. They report that he is very loving, lap kitty who is quick to comfort anyone in distress. He is very good with the children prior to this one incident. He loves to play with soft toys and with anything tied to a string. He is neutered and current on vaccines. He was an only pet and would do best in a home as an only pet and with children no younger than 8.
