While Charlie has had a tough time, he deserves a loving owner who can meet his needs and care for him through the rest of his days. He promises he will reward with lots of love and gentle kisses.<br/><br/>To be considered for visiting Charlie, you MUST fill out an adoption application and agree to and be able to do the following in order to be considered:<br/><br/>**MUST be willing to work with shelter director and cat behaviorist during his transition period** - it will likely be months of hiding after going home, so need someone very patient and knowledgeable about correct ways to socialize a cat, as well as with plenty of time to dedicate<br/><br/>**Must be willing to visit the shelter multiple times for at least one month once a week with our cat behaviorist prior to bringing home for adjustment period**<br/><br/>**Home cannot have kids, a dog, or more than 2 people. Needs a quiet home with minimal change, visitors, etc.<br/><br/>There will be no exceptions to the above.
