Charlie's Story
**Charlie is located in the St. Charles, IL area. We would prefer he be adopted with his brother Rexxie.**

Charlie and his brothers were pulled from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky. They were bright and playful from the start. Initially they were a bit scared of the resident cats and dog in their foster home, but after a day or two of ferocious kitten growling and posturing, they became best friends with the other cats--actually they worship the older cats in their house (they even try to nurse on one of the elder male cats). They also became accustomed to the dog, and it provides a very warm area on which to nap on.

Rexxie and Charlie have been best buddies ever since they emerged from their transport carrier. You can always find them playing and napping together. As far as kittens go, they are pretty mellow--they have the usual kitten capers, but then they take a long nap. They are very social boys, and love being around humans or other cats -- and even the dog if she behaves!

You can fill out our adoption application here: https://illinoisanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/mus29up0i00opz/

If you have questions, you can contact us at info@illinoisanimalrescueinc.org.
