Charlie's Story
Handsome Charlie

We found out about Charlie when he went into a trap set for a lost cat. He was a little thin, but tame and in good overall condition, so a volunteer passed out flyers in the area to see if he had a home or if he was abandoned. One neighbor recognized him as one of two cats that had been abandoned after a neighbor was evicted from the property a month ago. (Don't worry, we trapped the other cat too. ?) A resourceful fellow, Charlie traveled the neighborhood looking for food at night and then returned home to sleep on the piles of garbage still there from when his owner drove away and left him. ?

Charlie needs a foster or adoptive home in the Snohomish County area. No adoption fee if you foster-to-adopt. When people foster, we bring over some food, bed and a litterbox. You provide the love and attention. And if you fall in love with this sweet soul, he can be your forever cat.
Charlie is doing amazing in his temporary foster home. After only a couple days, his foster mom can pick him up and he'll lick treats from her fingers and move his head so you can scratch that special place below his chin. We expect him to be shy for the first week, but think his love of squeeze up treats and pets will turn him around fast.

Please consider Charlie if you are looking for a feline companion. We think he's going to be a total love bug when he settles in. He has perfect litterbox habit, and is neutered and vaccinated. He will also be microchipped before adoption.
Email winterdance@frontier.com if you are interested in fostering or adopting. Snohomish county preferred, but we will consider all homes north of Seattle and South of Mount Verson.

Please put "Charlie Adoption" in the subject line so we don't miss it in the spam.
