Chaps's Story

Meet Chaps!

Chaps is a handsome white and brown-gray tabby with the most striking orange-tinged eyes that seem to glow against his soft coat. This sweet boy has a gentle spirit and a quiet nature that makes him truly special.

Chaps can be very shy at first and prefers to take his time getting to know new people and surroundings. He's the kind of cat who appreciates having his space and a calm environment, where he can feel safe and comfortable. Once he settles in, his sweet personality begins to shine through in his own quiet way.

Chaps is looking for a peaceful, patient home where he can move at his own pace and be loved for the sensitive, thoughtful kitty he is. A quiet household where he can relax, observe, and slowly build trust would be the perfect match for him.

If you have a calm home and a gentle heart for a shy cat who just needs a little understanding, Chaps may be the perfect companion for you.

Fill out a Match Me form online at:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CAST/Cat

All C.A.R.E rescue cats are vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested, spayed/neutered, current on parasite prevention and microchipped! So all you need to provide is the love.

Our adoption fee is a minimum $100 tax deductible donation. All donations are used for rescue and medical care of animals in need. C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. This helps reduce pet overpopulation in the Ozarks - the highest in the country. Each animal is current on vaccinations. Both dogs and cats must receive three total sets of vaccinations to prevent deadly animal diseases. All animals at C.A.R.E. are kept current on their vaccinations while in our care (All animals are vaccinated for Bordetella or "kennel cough", DA2PPV, CVK-puppies, DA2PPV, Lepto-adult dogs, FVRCP-C-kittens & adult cats). Dogs and cats above the age of 12 weeks old also receive their rabies shots and are sent home with a rabies certificate, collar, & rabies tag. If a puppy or kitten is adopted before they have received the total three vaccinations, it is the responsibility of the adopter to provide them. Each animal has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Worms are parasites that can cause serious damage to your pet. C.A.R.E. deworms all of the animals in our care.
