Chandler was lost for a couple of years, and was eventually reunited with his family via his microchip; but in the years he went missing, the family had gotten other cats who were less than welcoming of his return. It was best for Chandler to find another home where he will be cherished rather than chased.<br/><br/>Meet Chandler, a big boy with a bigger heart! Chandler is a handsome white and orange-patched dude who is easygoing and loves to be around humans and other cats. He likes to follow and watch other cats from a comfortable distance, and maybe hang out together in companionable, peaceful silence. Even with a visiting new cat, Chandler maintained his equanimity and stayed a respectful distance so as to give the other cat comfortable space.<br/><br/>Although being picked up is still a work in progress, full body hugs are always welcome for this big love. He leans into head and cheek scritches, and it’s clear that having hands petting him is a favoured state of being. He loves to lounge by the backyard door to feel the nice cool breeze and watch the goings-on outside, perhaps remembering the wandering years spent lost and alone. <br/><br/>Chandler prefers Royal Canin over Hills Science dry kibbles, but Royal Canin wet food is at the bottom of his favourite list. He loves treats, and gets quite excited when catnip is offered as a pick-me-up. Playtime is always welcome, and springs, wands and any toy with trailing/flying tails are his go-to toys.<br/><br/>Chandler is a fastidious cat and grooms himself often to keep his white fur coat shiny and pristine. Such need for cleanliness extends to the litter box as well, as he is a stickler for an often-cleaned and well-tended box.<br/><br/>Chandler is a warm, loving cat everyone can get along with, including the elderly or children. He thrives in a calm routine where good food, head scratches, plenty of toys and a view to watch the world go by can be his every day.
