Meet Chance, our sweet 15-year-old butterball of love 🐾 Cats: Well-matched Dogs:Well-matched kids: Unknown This angel was surrendered to us due to his owner being evicted. Chance is an absolute doll and is now ready to find the softest place to land for his golden years. He has had bloodwork completed, a urinalysis, and a dental cleaning. Chance is neutered, microchipped, and has been SNAP tested (negative). He’s feeling good and ready for a cozy, loving retirement home. We believe Chance could do well with a well-matched cat and possibly a well-matched dog with proper introductions. His adoption fee is $175 plus tax. New Westminster Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AN ANIMAL, please submit an application form. This is the FIRST step in the adoption process. Please do NOT email us just to express interest. https://www.newwestcity.ca/services/animal-services/animal-shelter Our animals have unique personalities and needs. Our goal is to find the most suitable home for them and the most suitable pet for you. We make every effort to place animals in “forever” homes so they don’t find themselves back in a shelter. They’ve already lost their home once, and we don’t want them to go through that again. All applications are reviewed by two shelter staff members. We also conduct a phone interview, at which time we will address any questions or concerns you may have. Typically, we are able to inform applicants within 72 hours. If your application has been approved, we will then schedule a time for you to come pick up your new family member!
