Champ's Story
If you’ve got a lap, Champ has the time. If you’ve got a toy, Champ has the energy. And above all, if you’ve got an ACTIVE cat looking for a buddy, Champ can fill that job description.
Champ came to us with a severely injured tail that had to be amputated, but that hasn't slowed him down. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys the finer things in life, including battling with toy mice, and sleeping on a heated bed. He loves affection, wants to be where the action is, and doesn’t take no for an answer when the cats he’s being fostered with don’t want to play with him. (Restraint is not Champ’s strong point.) He’s a super sweet boy who gives kisses and purrs on contact. But he can be a handful. He can mistake hands for toys and give play bites. He also thinks that your food is his food. And if you have any fine china around the house, we suggest hiding it. Champ would do best in a home where he can get loads of attention and playtime. Please note that given his energy level, Champ would NOT do well in a small apartment.
If you think you and your active cat might be a good match for Champ, to meet him in his Belmont foster home, please fill out our pre-screen by copying/pasting the following link into your browser: https://bit.ly/3yRGpMD
