Chai's Story

Chai is an adorable tabby with a heart full of love and a personality that's just waiting to shine. She may be a little shy at first, but with a gentle hand and a patient heart, she's slowly stepping out of her shell and showing off just how sweet and charming she truly is.

This thoughtful little lady loves quiet affection and soft pets, and once she feels comfortable, she can't help but purr with delight. Every day brings a little more confidence and a little more playfulness, and her unique personality is beginning to sparkle like the star she is.

Chai would thrive in a calm, loving home that can give her the time and space she needs to blossom into the confident, affectionate companion she's destined to be. While she may be a bit big for a teacup, Chai can probably fit into a nice blanket or your lap for a snuggle just fine.

Chai will have an adoption fee of $150 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of her neuter, FIV combo test, feline distemper vaccination and dewormer. This fee does NOT cover the cost of her Rabies vaccination; this additional fee is paid by her adopter, directly to the vet clinic at time of pick up.

If you'd like to express interest in Chai, you may submit an adoption application here:

https://www.libertymissouri.gov/FormCenter/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-7/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-Adoption-Applicat-543

The Liberty Animal Shelter is open Monday-Tuesday 10a to 5p, Wednesday-Friday 10a to 6p, and 10a to 3p on the weekends.
*hours are subject to change*

We cannot guarantee the availability of any particular animal.
