Chai's Story

Chai is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl with rich swirls of orange, black, brown, and cream across her soft coat. Her bright, green eyes and tiny cream-tipped tail make her especially striking.

Chai is a calm, thoughtful lady who prefers a peaceful pace. She enjoys cozy beds and quiet observation spots, taking in her surroundings with quiet confidence. When the wand toy appears however, she becomes a focused huntress with impressive moves. Chai loves catnip toys, Churu meat tubes and Temptation treats, but more than anything she loves to be loved. Her signature move? Slow blinks. Chai will sit near you and blink sweetly until you come to her — just how she likes it. She’s also a chatty girl and will call out to get your attention when she’s ready for interaction. Once you’re beside her, she melts into gentle head and chin scritches and rewards you with steady purrs and tiny little biscuits!

Chai would do best in a calm, quiet, predictable home with gentle adults who appreciate a cat with a soft presence and who can take things slowly and allow her the time she needs to develop a trusting bond. Once that bond forms, Chai will never leave your side! She would thrive as a solo kitty or with a laid-back feline companion after proper introductions. Dogs are untested.
