Meet Chadwick Worthington III, a gentle 2-year-old gentleman who is looking for a patient home where he can be spoiled! Chadwick is FIV-positive, but that doesn't stop him from being a sweet and affectionate companion. He loves other cats, enjoys spending time with his people, and absolutely loves being brushed. He's also very treat-motivated, with Temptations and Churu being some of his favorites. Chadwick has lived with several cats and older children and has been friendly with both. He may be shy around men and would appreciate a little time to get comfortable with new people. A gradual introduction with any new pets will help him settle in successfully. Chadwick prefers a very clean litterbox. He has been using his litterbox successfully at the shelter, but his new family should be prepared to keep his boxes clean and continue working with their veterinarian on his GI needs. With his gentle nature, love of brushing, and serious appreciation for treats, Chadwick could make a wonderful companion! The purpose of our adoption criteria is to ensure a consistent, fair process and to provide every potential adopter with an equal opportunity to welcome a new pet into their home. All animals are adopted to individuals who agree to follow the guidelines outlined in the adoption contract. Adopters must be at least 18 years of age and are required to complete an adoption questionnaire, as well as provide valid identification and proof of current residence. Pets are placed in homes where they will be cared for primarily as indoor companions, and adopters must commit to providing lifelong care, including proper food, water, shelter, and regular exercise. Animals may be adopted as gifts in accordance with our gift adoption policy. Additionally, to ensure the safety and well-being of our animals, we do not proceed with adoptions to individuals who appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
