Cersei's Story
From Eviction to Enchantment — 12 Cats with Big Names & Bigger Hearts

When their family lost their home, these 12 cats were suddenly left with nowhere to go. All now officially up for adoption—and thanks to some very enthusiastic vet techs at their spay/neuter clinic, they've each been given names as unique and memorable as they are!

These cats have grown up surrounded by other felines and will thrive in homes with another young cat or as part of a pair. Each one is finding their way after a big life change—and with a little love and patience, they're ready to start fresh. Some of their names are Echo, Sir Didymus, Cersei, Cali, Spork, McChicken, Jelly Roll and Columbia. Although not required, we would love for a pair to get adopted together! We would waive one of the adoption fees if a pair is kept together!

She may be named after a queen, but this Cersei is far more conversational than commanding. A natural storyteller, she'll happily narrate her day once she's comfortable, filling the room with curious chirps and commentary. She lives just on the edge of seeking affection, one confident step away from lap-cat glory.

Playtime is where Cersei truly shines. Wand toys are her royal pastime, and she'll pounce, leap, and swish with focused enthusiasm. While she isn't a fan of pets just yet, she has a soft spot for squeeze treats and will gladly come closer for those special offerings.

Cersei is looking for a patient, understanding home with someone willing to let her open up at her own pace. Give her time, consistency, and a little space to be herself, and this quiet queen may one day decide your lap is worthy of her presence.

These cats have been through so much in a short time, but they've held on to their unique personalities and capacity to love. Could your home be the fresh start they deserve?

We received a grant from PetFinder Foundation to help find her forever home! Her adoption fee has been reduced by $100 (adoption fee will be $150).

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.

Location: Bolton, CT
Adoption Fee: $250
