Meet Celeste, one of the six cats rescued from a dire situation in West Mifflin. After a frantic call from a concerned citizen, we discovered that an elderly woman's beloved cats had been abandoned outside in the Pittsburgh winter. Celeste was found lying on the doormat of the home she was tossed out of, waiting for an owner who would never return. Our hearts broke for Celeste and the others.<br/><br/>Celeste is now one of our permanent sanctuary residents. As a geriatric cat with special needs, she will live out her days with us. While she's not available for adoption, we would be deeply grateful for any donations towards her continued care, including her upcoming internal medicine appointments.
