Celeste's Story

Needs a foster for more Socialization & Patience!! Celeste is seeking a foster parent with experience in socializing fearful or under-socialized cats. She needs someone who understands timid, fearful cats. (Not raised with people as a kitten) She is beautiful but NOT the adoptable girl we had hoped she woud become. She still runs away from our approach, hisses with attempts to touch At this time, we would also entertain allowing her to become a barn cat where she will be safe and utilized as a mouse catcher. We do NOT euthanize but are desperate for a solution! She has beeen in our system 2.5 years!!!! The Key: She needs a calm, predictable environment and a foster who is dedicated to consistent, positive interaction to help her blossom out of her shell.
