Meet Cedar, one of the 13 cats rescued from an emergency intake at a known dumping site in New Brighton. Cedar is a big, hunky flame point boy who arrived in poor medical condition, with wounds, fleas, and a rough body condition. Initially, Cedar was quite reactive, and we weren't sure if he would be able to be placed or if he might need to be released.<br/><br/>With time and care, Cedar has transformed into a sweet, affectionate boy. He now eagerly greets you at the front of his cage, meowing for attention and demanding pets. Cedar continues to make progress both behaviorally and medically.
