His rescue story is a sad one - he was found abandoned in a cardboard box in Crown Heights, Brooklyn in early June and he spent weeks living along outdoor subway tracks until he was finally rescued.<br/><br/>But back in the safety of a (foster) home, Cedar is a whole new cat! He is very outgoing around the people he knows, rarely hides from strangers, and chirps at his fosters as he follows them around the house. His fosters say, “He loves attention and he isn’t afraid to command it!” <br/><br/>He will charm you endlessly with his adorable antics - he stands up on his back legs like a meerkat while bird watching, snuggles with stuffed animals, and has been known to face plant into bowls of catnip. <br/><br/>Cedar is looking for his forever home where he can sing you songs, curl up on the bed besides you, and purr the day away as you give him chin scratches. He will eagerly seek out your love and be your affectionate little friend.<br/><br/>Cedar is healthy 3-year old and has been neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, dewormed/defleaed, and negative for FIV/FeLV.
