Cedar's Story

Meet Cedar — A Whole Lot of Love in One Little Package!

Cedar is one of four tiny orphans who came to us at just a few days old, needing to be bottle fed. Cedar is the kind of kitten who will happily accept attention, snuggles, and affection — and then come back looking for more. He has that wonderful combination of kitten silliness and a big, loving personality that makes it almost impossible not to fall for him.

Of course, he's still a kitten, so there is plenty of playing, pouncing, chasing, and general kitten mischief mixed in with all those cuddles!

Cedar has spent his entire life surrounded by other kittens, so he knows just how much fun it is to have a buddy. He would do wonderfully with another friendly cat, and if you're considering adopting two, we offer discounts on adoption fees when additional cats are adopted together. Two kittens means built-in playtime, companionship, and twice the love!

Cedar's beginning wasn't easy. He was just a few days old when he lost his mama and needed someone to step in. Thankfully, Mango did exactly that — and she raised him alongside her own babies with all the love a kitten could ask for.

Now it's Cedar's turn to find the family who will love him for the rest of his life.

Could that family be you?

Fill out an adoption application and come meet this handsome, loving boy. Max Raven Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
The interested party fills out an adoption application off of our website. We check vetting of current or past pets to ensure they have been kept up to date. If renters, we call and check with landlord to be sure pets are allowed and they are aware. If homeowners, we check with county assessor to be sure they do own the home. We check with two references they put on their application. We do a meet and greet while simultaneously doing a home check. The meet and greet is also to introduce other resident pets to the potential adoption pet to ensure there is not out of the ordinary issues or aggression.
