Cecily's Story

Cecily is a young tri-colored tabby beauty (gray, white, and orange) with soft fur, curious eyes, and just the right amount of sass. At under a year old, she’s still growing into herself — and what she’s becoming is something special. Cecily isn’t the life of the party. She’s not here to entertain a crowd. She’s here for your cat.

This girl absolutely adores other cats — all of them. She wants to snuggle them, groom them, be groomed by them, nap in a warm heap with them, and generally center her whole world around them. Because of that, Cecily must be adopted into a home with a friendly, affectionate cat who enjoys cuddling. A confident resident cat will help her feel safe and happy.

With humans, Cecily is thoughtful and selective. She believes in boundaries and expects hers to be respected. She'll make the first move; you need to wait for it. Once she trusts you, she enjoys gentle pets and may even allow you the honor of kissing her adorable little forehead. (It’s a privilege. Earn it.)

Her ideal home is calm and predictable. No dogs, and probably no small children. She’s looking for a peaceful life where she can lounge with her feline companion, watch the world from the window, and feel safe. She has recovered from serious illness and wants to just enjoy life.

Cecily’s hobbies include:
• Intense birdwatching and squirrel surveillance
• Competitive toy batting and enthusiastic solo play sessions
• Lounging dramatically on a heated blanket
• Watching Bravo (she is firmly Team Captain Sandy)
• Accepting small offerings of cheese as tribute

Her eyes are endlessly curious and beneath that discerning gaze is a sensitive, affectionate young cat who just wants security, warmth, and a best feline friend. Cecily doesn’t need to be the center of attention. She just needs to be someone’s cozy, loyal, slightly opinionated companion — preferably while snuggled into another cat. If you have a loving cat who would enjoy a cuddle partner, Cecily may be the perfect match.

Estimated DOB: 4/06/25
