Ceate's Story

Meet Ceate, pronounced "C.A.T."! She is shy but sweet and previously lived in a home with kids and other pets. This may have been a little too hectic for her as she reportedly had some litterbox issues. Since arriving to the shelter, we had her assessed by our medical team and after some treatment she has been using her litterbox consistently but does seem to prefer the clay/clumping litter. We feel she would do best in a quiet home that can give her time to transition and give her grace if she makes some mistakes. Setting her up in a bathroom with multiple litterboxes would be a good start and she will likely like some hiding spaces. We can give you some resources on how to set her up for success too! Don't let her shy nature deter you, she is having a hard time in the shelter and we hope someone will be willing to give her a chance!
