Meet CC… aka Cumulus Cloud <br/><br/>She is, quite literally, shaped like a cloud and moves like one too. Soft, floaty… slightly wobbly… but somehow still gets where she’s going faster than you expect. She’ll be 11 this July and has already lost 4 lbs with us, which honestly just means she’s an overachiever in a marshmallow body.<br/><br/>CC has a bit of a wobbly walk (bowed legs, some intention tremors when she eats), but she truly does not care. Ramps? She’s on them. Carpeted stairs? She’ll take those too. You’ll watch her and think “there’s no way she’s about to” and then she does it anyway.<br/><br/>Her favourite things in life are simple:<br/>the sofa<br/>watching TV with you<br/>window surveillance<br/>catnip banana<br/>and aggressively loving her humans<br/><br/>When you come home, she does this fast little wobble-run to the door that is honestly one of the best things you will ever witness. It’s not graceful. It’s perfect.<br/><br/>She is one of the most affectionate, easygoing cats we’ve ever had. No drama, no attitude, just pure “I love you, please sit down so I can be near you” energy. She’s incredibly generous with her time and attention and just wants to exist beside her person.<br/><br/>She’s also an absolute angel for vet care and handling. Truly unbothered. A dream patient.<br/><br/>We adore CC. Like… deeply. She’s the kind of cat you wish you could keep forever. But she deserves her own home, her own couch, her own human to follow around and love for the rest of her life.<br/><br/>Medical stuff (the honest but manageable part):<br/><br/>CC is declawed on all four paws.<br/><br/>She has arthritis and is on a monthly injection (about $180/month right now, expected to drop by about half once she loses another ~2 lbs).<br/><br/>She had bladder stone surgery (cystotomy) with us and recovered beautifully. She does have one stone in each kidney—these are stable, not causing issues, and there is no surgical option for removal in cats. Many cats live their whole lives with these without problems.<br/><br/>Hydration is key for her (she loves wet food and enjoys some dry occasionally).<br/><br/>Because of her mobility, she needs:<br/><br/>* a low-entry litter box<br/>* carpeted/soft surfaces for traction<br/>* a home where stairs are safe/blocked as needed<br/><br/>And don’t worry, we will send her home with everything she needs to get started (litter box, litter, beds, toys, fountain, the whole starter pack).<br/><br/>We know CC isn’t your “typical” cat.
