Catrin's Story

Meet Catrín – the chatterbox cuddle queen!

Catrín may have a dainty little head on a pleasantly plump body, but don’t let her funny proportions fool you—she’s full of love (and maybe a little extra fluff). At around 3–4 years old, this sweet girl has perfected the art of being your shadow. She meows often, not because she’s fussy, but because she just really wants your attention and to hang out by your side.

Her hobbies include:
• Perching high up on counters to keep tabs on the kingdom
• Showing off her lounging skills (belly up, belly down—she’s versatile)
• Looking adorable while waiting for her favorite Fancy Feast dry food or a gravy-rich wet treat
• Accepting pets, scritches, and endless admiration

Catrín isn’t much of a toy enthusiast, but she does enjoy sharpening her claws , bird watching through windows, and indulging in cat snacks.
She would thrive as the only cat of the house, though she’s fine with respectful dogs. In her foster home, she is around 2 other cats and they seem to have established their boundaries. Catrin is definitely more alpha than them. So she could work with another cat household, but they’d have to be more submissive kitties. She is fostered with 2 dogs, and she has let them both know she is the boss.

She’s also been very sweet with her foster’s young granddaughter and absolutely adores adult attention.

Shy at first, Catrín quickly blossomed into a confident, loving companion who roams the house, chats away, and makes sure you never feel lonely. She’s ready to be your best friend, lap-warmer, and personal assistant (especially if “assisting” means supervising from a countertop).

Catrín is ready to be the quirky, loyal love of your life.
View the full bio/profile and photos/videos HERE:https://www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=20242782

All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:

Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption.
Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.

---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
