Catawba's Story

Catawba was born on Mothers Day, in a local animal shelter, the biggest and boldest of his siblings. He entered kittenhood already embodying a bit of his African Wildcat ancestors—full of presence, poise, and just enough determination to suggest he's got big dreams, even if most of them involve snacks and snuggles.

Despite his impressive size, Catawba has always been the gentleman of the family. At the Mama Milk Bar, he'd politely scoot over to make room for the smallest kittens, then claim the prime real estate near Mamas head so he could soak up the premium cuddles and deluxe grooming package. He's a kitten who knows how to enjoy life's simple pleasures: good food, a cozy nap spot, enthusiastic playtime, dedicated bird-watching shifts, and plentiful snuggles.

Catawba is wonderfully adaptable—happy with other cats, happy on his own, though he'd probably vote for feline roommates if given the choice. He's a charmer through and through, capable of winning over even the grumpiest personalities with his balanced mix of sweetness and just a dash of spice. Socially savvy and confident, he makes friends easily and keeps things interesting without tipping into chaos. He likes a good time and he likes a good nap. In short, Catawba is the whole package: kind-hearted, playful, charming and ready to become someone's best friend.
