Catarina's Story
Catarina is a beautiful, exotic-looking tortoiseshell female kitten. Her foster mom has dubbed her "Princess of All Things Crooked" because of her unusual cork-screw tail (see the picture below).

Catarina's life started out rough; taken to the San Martin Animal Shelter in a trap when only two weeks old, she was then turned over to Town Cats. Catarina was shy at the Town Cats shelter and we thought she needed more socialization in a foster home, where she could get more attention.

One day Catarina's unsuspecting foster-to-be was doing volunteer work at the shelter and was told about shy Catarina.
The foster called to her, and Catarina ran up and started to rub all over her new person. (The foster deal was sealed.)Turns out that Catarina really didn't need to be socialized, but simply needed to be in a normal environment instead of a shelter for a change.

(Remember she'd been a shelter kitten from the age of two weeks.) She's a really affectionate, playful kitten who needs a family to love. She gets along with other kittens, adult cats, and the dog in her foster home. She's very playful so should do well with older children.

Catarina and Chappie are not related, but please don't tell them that. Catarina, eight months old, and Chappie, five months, have been fostered together and have truly become "Sisters of the Heart".

They are so bonded that we would love to have the two of them placed together. Each kitten shines in the other's presence and would do well if they stayed together.
