Catapult -ADOPTION PENDING!'s Story

Meet Catapult, a good looking gray and white kitty, found as a stray and brought to Kent County Animal Shelter. Catapult was deemed too shy for them so he made his way to Second Chance...home of helping shy kitties get adopted.

Catapult continues to blossom every day thanks to a dedicated volunteer helping him learn to trust. When approached slowly Catapult likes pets, especially head scritches. He finds comfort in a cubby but his confidence has been building so has begun to wander about the room and roam.. He also has developed a cuddle friend in Socks. Catapult also LOVES his wet food!

Catapult will need a patient adopter, allowing him to acclimate at his own pace but yet provide him with gentle pets, play, and treats. Even better would be an adopter with a cat who would like a cuddle friend as Catapult definitely builds confidence from others. He would also enjoy being adopted with his buddy Socks.

Catapult would appreciate a quieter home with routine. Likely a single adopter or a couple would be best for him along with having another cat friend. He will need a smaller space at first to feel safe and in build his confidence.

Catapult has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Catapult has an approximate birthdate of 12-04-2022. His adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Catapult or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
