Cassius Clay's Story
Cassius Clay was born on July 1, 2012 and found in the parking garage of Tidewater Beach Resort. While running back and forth from the one side of the street to the resort to an employee standing by the road coaxing him with food, this little starving kitten nearly got hit by traffic several times. Cassius Clay was a black & white tuxedo kitten who fit in the size of a little boys hand. He was rescued and loved to box with a Paws & Claws volunteer's youngest son, so he was named after the great professional boxer – Muhammad Ali. He has lived inside every since and has been loved more than anyone can image. Cassius Clay is a male cat now who is neutered and not due for a rabies shot until March 8, 2017. His vet records are provided. Domestic Short Hair. Color: Black / White. Rabies Tag# 45478. Due to health-related issues and circumstances beyond her control, the volunteer is no longer able to keep Cassius Clay in his current home and will happily provide the $60 adoption fee in order that Cassius Clay goes on to the perfect loving fur-ever home to live out the rest of his life. He loves being on the highest point of the cat tower looking out the window as shown in photo. He has beautiful green eyes and a black goatee smack in the middle of his chin. Truly one handsome dude who likes to think he is the Alpha Male but is actually a softy inside. He comes from a home with two other cats (both male) and three dogs. Cassius gets along well with non-aggressive dogs – mostly ignoring them if they would keep out of his personal space. He loves wet food but has to have it in moderation to keep his slim physique. His diet consists of mostly fresh water daily and dry food with low ash to prevent crystal formulation in his urine – like all cats have a tendency to get especially male cats. Cassius Clay is just a tad bit spoiled rotten … but so deserving of your love – and he returns it freely. Please give him time to adjust to his new surroundings and his new home. That is all I can ask and pray for. His adoption can only be approved by Julie King, Kim Mullins or Cathy Lands – volunteers with Paws & Claws – who work shifts at PetSmart / Pier Park North, Panama City Beach, Florida at 15500 Panama City Beach Pkwy #340, Panama City Beach, FLORIDA
