Cassie<br/>DOB: April, 2025<br/><br/>Cassie (short for Castrol Edge 5w-30 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil) was born inside on 4/19/25 as part of a litter belonging to Stormy, a former-feral cat who was captured shortly before giving birth. <br/><br/>She has tremendous energy, is very playful, purrs loudly, and is super talkative. She can often be found sprinting around the house, attempting to climb to the highest point she can find, and coming to greet you at the door. Cassie is bonded with her brother, Mobile, who is also enrolled with SPCA.<br/><br/>Cassie gets along great with other cats and dogs who are nice, but she can be nervous of new people and new places. A slower and patient introduction to a new home will make her feel most comfortable.<br/><br/>Cassie's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. South Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy
The South Plains SPCA believes that adopting an animal is a forever decision that should not be taken lightly.  We expect our adopters to be committed to loving our animals for the rest of their lives.   Adoption events are held every Saturday at 8901 Highway 87, Building 119, Lubbock, TX. Dog adoptions take place from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and cat adoptions are 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. While not all of our animals come every weekend, our volunteers will be more than happy to talk to you about the animals you are interested in.  You can also send an e-mail to adoptions.spspca@gmail.com regarding any of our animals that you are interested in making a forever member of your family.  Meetings can be arranged outside of our Saturday adoption event, usually on Monday evenings for dogs and Wednesday evenings for cats.   We have an adoption application that must be filled our.  The adoption fee varies and is dependent on whether the pet is a dog or cat and age of the pet. The adoption fee covers the dog/cat being spayed or neutered, current vaccinations, heartworm/tick screening, and microchipped.  Indoor homes are preferred.
