Cassie's Story

Cassie is an absolutely adorable 1.5 year old spayed female. <br/><br/>She is polydactyl, meaning she has extra toes on her front paws! Cassie came to us as a stray, so we do not know much about her history and she was pretty nervous at first. She is making great progress and loves being pet. She still gets a little nervous at first, but with a patient, understanding adopter, we think she will thrive. <br/><br/>We think she could do well with other cats, especially those a little more confident so she can learn from them. <br/><br/>Cassie is looking for a quiet, loving home. Could it be yours?

Friends of Exeter Animals's Adoption Policy
The Exeter Animal Shelter does not do same day adoptions.  In order to adopt there is a fee, but for a lifetime of happiness its worth it. Adoption fee is $75 for spayed/neutered pets. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE.  Please visit the shelter and apply in person after meeting the pet you wish to adopt. If you have any questions about the animals available at the shelter, please stop in to speak with one of the Animal Control Officers, or call the shelter at 401-294-2754. Email us at: animalshelter@exeterri.gov If you are interested in finding out more about volunteering with the Friend of the Exeter Animals or making a donation, please contact us at: Friendsofexeteranimals@yahoo.com The Exeter Animal Shelter is located on Rt. 2 in Exeter between the Veterans Cemetery and Schartners Farm. From the North - Take Rt. 95 South to Rt. 4. Take exit 5B (Rt102) and take a left at the light onto Rt 2. We're just a couple miles down.
