Casper's Story
Meet Casper, a 2-year-old male domestic shorthair cat. He is loving, affectionate and gentle. He loves toys and especially loves his foster mom's nose! He is mostly white with a black tail and two black spots on his head by his ears. Casper had a rough start on the mean Cleveland streets, but then he found a home. Unfortunately, Casper's family has suffered financially and they can no longer care for him. Viva Los Gatos has stepped in to find this sweet kitty a new forever home and we need your help!Casper is very sweet and just wants to be petted. He helps his foster family in the kitchen, supervising all the activities. He seems to enjoy being around the other cats without interacting a whole lot. He doesn't seem to care for the dogs, but he's also not afraid of them. Casper's original owner was female, but in his foster home he has not shown a preference for females over males. Casper does have anxiety so he will need someone who is patient and will give him three weeks or more before he acclimates. He is a little anxious until he gets used to you, but he doesn't bite. He does rub the fur off of his face when he gets stressed. We think Casper would be a good fit for seniors or the elderly. He might do okay in a household with older kids who are considerate of others. Casper is fully vaccinated and neutered. Interested in adopting Casper or one of our other wonderful kitties?
