Meet Cashmere
Date of birth: 1/09/2015
1/25/2021: Cashmere is a beautiful brown tabby longhair kitty with an impressive tail— her tail is super long and fluffy! Cashmere is friendly and very curious. She loves to explore!
• Cashmere came to us from a hoarding situation after the owner passed away. There were 20 cats in the home, but the cats were fairly well cared for and had been spayed/neutered.
• Cashmere is good with other cats. She hasn’t been around dogs. We think she would probably be okay with a dog who is calm and used to cats.
• Cashmere’s coat will need regular brushing. Her coat has some mats currently and needs some grooming, but isn’t in horrible shape. Cashmere is thin and does need to gain some weight.
• She is 6 years old and has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.
MORE ON ADOPTING OUR CATS...
> COVID-19 UPDATE: PLEASE SUBMIT AN ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION AND A MEMBER OF OUR ADOPTIONS TEAM WILL REACH OUT TO YOU. Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for an adoption application, our current COVID-19 adoption protocol, and other adoption info. Â
> After meeting our pets, if you decide you'd like to adopt one of the pets you meet, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the pet home with you that day. We’ll instead schedule a pick up date and time that’s convenient for you.Â
> Most of our cats are not confined in cages but instead live in our spacious and sunny cat rooms. It's a great environment for them, it allows us to get to know them well, and it's a nice environment for you to come in to visit -- and find your perfect match!
> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Kittens who are too young to receive all the necessary kitten boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. Take advantage of our ADOPT-A-BUDDY program: Adopt two cats or kittens together at a greatly reduced adoption fee!
Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
