When he first arrived at the shelter, he was frightened and in pain, which led many to believe he wasn’t friendly—but the truth couldn’t be more different. Covered in painful burrs that had to be carefully removed, Casey was shaved for medical reasons and is now on the road to both physical and emotional healing. Beneath it all is a sweet, docile boy who simply needed comfort and care. Casey may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, his affectionate and gentle nature truly shines. He would do best in a calm, patient home with other cats, older people, or respectful children who can give him the time and kindness he deserves to feel safe and loved again.
