Carnita 's Story

Carnita is a very sweet cat, she is around two years old. Very friendly and calm. She enjoys head rubs, breakfast time and sun bathing in the window and playing with toys. She has been around other cats in a foster home and did good. She is kid friendly, come adopt this lovely girl.

Edgewood Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adopting from Edgewood Animal Shelter is a very simple process. We are a first come, first served basis, unless otherwise noted. If you see an animal on Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, our Facebook Page, or other websites that is available for adoption and you are interested in making a forever companion, contact us. Come by our shelter during business hours. A meet and greet with the animal is available at our location. Once you have chosen an animal that is compatible, you will fill out an adoption agreement pay a designated fee as established with our Edgewood town and shelter Ordinance 2018-06 Exhibit A, "Schedule of Fees". Our adoption fee includes a one-year rabies vaccination, sterilization (as required by law), and a voucher for a "wellness check" at one of our local veterinarians, and microchipping.
