We strongly believe that kittens do best in pairs because a kitty buddy provides the constant companionship and "cat language" lessons that are vital for their development. Growing up with a friend helps kittens burn off energy through natural play, reduces stress, and teaches them important social boundaries. Because she is so social, Carnes would love to be adopted with a sibling or go to a home with a friendly and active resident cat. We will only consider placing her as an only cat if her adopters are home most of the time, as kittens this age require frequent interaction to grow into well-adjusted adults. This friendly girl is ready to fit right into your family! To make sure she stays safe and happy, any children in the home should be at least 5 years old and know how to be gentle with a young cat.
