Someone left the four of us taped inside a cardboard box and dropped it in a donation bin outside the shelter. No room to move, no food or water — just a hand towel, one lonely feather, and each other.<br/><br/>We were found just in time, and the past is behind us now. But I carry something powerful from that dark box: a zest for life. Every day is a gift, and I plan to make the most of it.<br/><br/>I’m what the shelter calls a handful in the best way. I want to be everywhere you are — and everywhere I shouldn’t be. Shelves? Climbing them. Cabinets? Exploring them. Your lap? Living in it.
