Carmen's Story

My name is Carmen and I have had a journey throug my life.

I originally came all the way from Roatán, Honduras to escape the overpolulation and continual fight for survival. Flight Angels of Roatan, a Honduras-based rescue, flew me to Michele's Rescue to find my American family. I am so ready for a second chance at life!

I was then adopted, but the person who adopted me returned me for reasons that didn't make sense. She stated that Carmen was having behavioral issues and didn't get along with her cat when in fact, she is the best mannered cat and gets along with all of our cattery cats, including the ones at my home. Needless to say we feel that Carmen was just not wanted.

I am very sweet, I LOVE to be petted and brushed! Head scratches are the absolute best too! I am a petite girl at only 6lbs and so exotic looking - with a small face, large ears, long athletic body and long legs. When I was taken in in Honduras, I lived in a foster home with a dog and other kitties.

I am currently at the PetSmart in Kentwood, MI - will you please stop by and see me?

Please apply at michelesrescue.com and once approved, we will schedule a personal meet-and-greet!
