Carmelita's Story
Carmelita is as sweet as her name, but she is also a little bit exclusive. Pet her and she'll purr her heart out. Let her climb on your lap and she'll cuddle for ages. Pick her up unexpectedly, though, and she may run off. She loves curling up in the bedclothes as soon as the bed is vacated - just helping reduce chores by not letting you make up the bed. She is also very fond of cat caves where she can hide while keeping an eye on everyone. If you are a bit late with the evening feeding, she will come out and let you know. Loudly. She's just making sure that everything runs smoothly.

She would probably be happiest with another cat, though she's fine curling up by herself. We most often see her with Chalupa.
She is fine with other cats, has lived with a dog, has not often been around children.

Personality traits:
a bit stand-offish and shy
definitely food-motivated
fairly quiet unless dinner is late

When you do bring me home, make a "safe" room for me while I get used to the smells and sounds of my new home. I'll adjust better this way! This will also give me a "safe" place to go if I get scared.

If you would like to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please fill out the application provided below and email it to FatKatzAbqApps@gmail.com.

https://12db8791-94db-03d3-47b2-fdf7032a8f1a.filesusr.com/ugd/0db810_ce62b8cf78ee4dfea9b182f2f9d3541b.pdf?fbclid=IwAR0H9KNYe_F0rcfnQ6gzuWgAzXjOFu-wK8oykJdYXrcpUfA_31l54VDRufE_aem_AdKCYhCtgAV79HPkq0H0U7BhV2PQqnYVDMHq34-nKXheFV7MfaG5cE5SIt94Vm9oXUiz58ZJBrWo4zXjinB22-At

Please call FAT KATZ, 505-293-2830 or email FatKatzAbqApps@Gmail.com for more info or questions!
