Carl's Story

Carl is a two year old male cat with a soft Tabby and White coat. Carl came to us from a sad situation. He was very nervous and overwhelmed in the shelter for the first few days. We gave him a hiding box, lots of treats and some time to adjust. He realizes now that we care for him and he is rewarding us with so much affection! Carl loves to get pets and scritches and will give you head buts and cruises around your hands. Carl is looking for a patient person or family who can give him time to adjust. Once he is comfortable, he is such a love bug. Carl is up to date on vaccines, is litter box trained and his adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory neuter and microchip.

Davie County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Cat adoptions are $80 and include first vaccines, spay or neuter and microchip. Dog adoptions are $160 and include first vaccines, heartworm test for dogs over 5 months, spay or neuter and microchip. We ask that adopters come in and meet pets they are interested in and then have a conversation with one of our adoption staff. Adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay or neuter.
