Carl's Story

Meet Carl! This tiny guy has a big personality, an inquisitive little face, and the meow of a grumpy old man. He’s an outgoing sweetheart who flops right over to ask for scritches whenever someone enters the room, and his impressive purr is almost always rumbling away. Carl is a pretty mellow kitten who loves chasing string toys but is always happy to pause for pets. He’s gentle when he plays, does great with being handled, and even aced his first nail trim!

Carl is still discovering the world and gaining confidence, including working on his little hops as he explores. He’s curious about other cats and has been doing wonderfully with his feline housemates, so he’d love a home with another kitten friend to play with. Carl is also comfortable with cat friendly dogs.If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a big purr, an old-man meow, and plenty of love to give, Carl might just be your guy! Carl was born late May or early June 2026.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Carl, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you!
