Carina's Story

Carina‘s Story

Carina is a shorthair, mostly Tabby, with a little hint of Tortie. Since her two sisters (Lyra and Selene) look just like her, they look and act like triplets! She is one of the litter of five from the Heartland neighborhood stray, who came into KFF foster care at about 4 weeks of age (born February 25th). Carina is a happy, playful little girl who especially loves to play with her furry mouse and chase her sister siblings. Carina is very affectionate and cuddly and loves to be picked up for kisses and cuddles whenever she’s running past the feet of her foster parents. She is very “helpful” with all household chores and likes to be near her foster parents and siblings at all times. Carina and her sisters rush to meet her foster parents at the door whenever they have been away from the house, and will spend a few minutes collecting cuddles and kisses to reassure them that all is well. Carina loves water and will be watching carefully when doing the dishes or brushing teeth. Carina loves to play with her toy mouse and will often bring it to her foster parents to toss for her retrieval. She has a super big purr that is always in full voice at the slightest bit of attention or handling. Since Carina is bonded with her siblings, we are looking for a home where the “triplets” can be together if possible. They are really wonderful individuals, but truly remarkable together.
