Caribou

Caribou is a beautiful calico/tabby mix who was picked up off the side of a freeway with her two kittens. The finder took Caribou to MNSnap as a TNR cat but after seeing how good she was with her kittens and the potential she had to becoming a house cat/pet, the finder reached out to us to take her rather than return her to where she was found. She has been very shy and a bit nervous since she joined us but we know she has great potential if someone would just give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable and safe. We know that she is not the type of cat that everyone is looking for as many want instant gratification cats but we whole-heartedly believe that her person is out there somewhere and without us posting her story, that person may never be found. If you have an open heart and a desire to make a difference in a cat's life, maybe Caribou is the one for you - it's worth a visit to at least meet her, right?<br/><br/>Caribou's DOB is approx. 6/1/18. Her ear tip that you see in her profile pics is the result of her spay at MNSnap. Presently, we are recommending older children only as a match for Caribou as little ones would not know how to read her signs. Dogs are an unknown.
