Cardi's Story

I was found outside as a sick stray. A good samaritan found me and brought me to the shelter for help. I actually tested positive for heartworm which is rather rare in cats- so I had to go through extensive treatment for that. Now that I'm all fixed up I'm looking for my forever home! I have successfully tested negative, but I will need to be retested in April to verify.<br/><br/>Cardi has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come to the shelter for a meet and greet. All cats must leave in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased here if available for $6.
