Carbon, Coal and Night's Story

Hey there black cat lovers, do we have some awesome babies for you! These three little girls came to Salty Paws after a good samaritan found them in a drainage pipe, scared, alone and very cold. She helped us help them.

They are absolutely adorable and like wooly little bears. Although they came in a tiny bit hissy, due to all the adoration, love and care, they have quickly blossomed into indoor-loving house kittens. They are about 7 weeks old (as of 12-18-25)

Night, Carbon and Coal are still in line for their spays and vetting (including their FIV/Felk snap test). They have to put on a little bit more weight before some of that can occur. So they are available as “foster to adopt” only right now. This means that a potential adopter fosters them while we assist with their final vetting (financially and emotionally).

The little ladies are eating like champs, using their litter box faithfully and it is just one of the cutest things, watching them explore their world and learn that humans are fun, cuddly and kind. Due to their tender age and need for social development, they must be adopted as a pair, trio or into a home with an existing young cat or kitten. We get kittens in all of the time, so we are also happy to pair them up with another tiny pal.

If you are interested in fostering-to-adopt Night, Carbon and/or Coal, please fill out the following application:

https://form.jotform.com/253063679471161

For the safety of our animals, home visits are a requirement of both adopters and fosters, but we make this as unobtrusive and convenient as we can.
