When he was just 5–6 months old, he faced a life-threatening illness caused by extreme blood loss. Despite undergoing extensive testing, the cause was never found—but thanks to a lifesaving blood transfusion and lots of love, Carat made a full recovery and has been thriving ever since.<br/><br/>Now over a year later, Carat is the picture of health and happiness—and maybe just a little spoiled! He’s been lovingly monitored to ensure nothing else cropped up, and he’s proven himself to be the “purrfect” companion.
