CARAMEL's Story
Hi! My name is Caramel and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on November 18, 2025 with my sibling. I was quite undersocialized so I have been in foster home for a few months. I have made great strides in my foster home so I am ready to look for my forever family, but please understand that I am a work in progress and may take much longer than you average cat to come around. I can be quite independent, but I love being around other cats. In my foster home I loved playing with my foster brother and the resident cats. I am still learning to like affection and not be scared of things. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home WITHOUT younger children. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home. I am a medium-haired cat which means I will need frequent grooming! I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.
