Caramel's Story
Sweet little Caramel is a good boy who has come a long way and still has a ways to go.

When Caramel first arrived at GPAC he behaved as if he was completely feral. We knew from his foster that, that was not the case, however, as he had proved to be affectionate enough to be trapped, vetted, and transferred to Purrs. Over time, his docile and loving personality has bloomed.

Caramel is not good with kids. He doesn't like noise, chaos, or high energy at all. He DOES like people, but it takes him time to build trust.

He is not aggressive. He often hisses as a default greeting, but never bites or scratches. When he likes someone, which is something that takes time, he can turn into mush.

Caramel LOVES other cats - especially his brother Bramble. Caramel NEEDS another cat with him at all times, wherever he goes in life. A friend is a lifeline to him that gives him the confidence to try new things and be brave.

We think Caramel will become a wonderful companion with the right people who can help him grow his confidence. He is a worthwhile challenge for adopters who like to earn their cats acceptance and love.

Fully vetted. DOB 11/23/25
