Caramel's Story

Caramel is a fearless and affectionate little guy who loves to see what you are up to and wants to help in any way he can. He has tons of energy and love to give. Caramel loves chasing his brother and wand toys, and we're sure he will catch that laser pointer someday! Caramel is a champion purr monster and takes his job as biscuit maker very seriously. That fluffy orange and white fur is so eye-catching you'll have a hard time watching anything but him run around and be adorable.

We rescued mama Pumpkin Patch along with her six kitten. Toffee and Caramel are the two still available. We estimate their date of birth to be 10/7/2025.

Caramel can be adopted with his brother, Toffee, or into a home with another young cat or kitten with whom he can play and socialize. We don’t know how he would do with dogs. He would likely do well with cat-savvy kids.

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

For more information on this policy:
www.adoptapet.com/blog/how-to-cure-only-kitten-syndrome/

For more information and pictures, go to our website: http://www.ppahrescue.org/adoptable-pets/

To submit an adoption application online: http://www.ppahrescue.org/adoptapp/

If you cannot adopt, please share to help Caramel find a "furrever" home.

To make a donation via PayPal, USPS, or one of our current campaigns; to provide an item from our Amazon Wish List, or to sponsor an animal, please do so here: http://www.ppahrescue.org/donation/

All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. Precious Pets Almost Home Association's Adoption Policy
Please help our homeless pets in need by adopting from Precious Pets Almost Home. All of our cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed, flea-treated, up to date on vaccines and treated for ear mites. Cats are tested for FIV/Leukemia. Dogs are Heartworm tested. Our modest adoption fee is $175.00 for cats and $400.00 for dogs (unless otherwise noted). Some purebred cats or dogs may have a higher adoption fee. Please understand that the higher adoption fee for certain purebred animals allows us to rescue more animals and it is still much, much less than what you would pay a breeder or pet store! Adopter is contractually bound to return their adopted animal to PPAH if for any reason the adoption does not work out. We do not return adoption donations after 14 days. If animals are adopted together, they must be returned together. We do not adopt single kittens into homes with no other pets, namely cats. This policy is in the best interest of the cats in our care and is shared by many rescue groups nationwide. Applicant must demonstrate the ability and commitment to provide proper care, exercise and vetting for the lifetime of the pet. PPAH reserves the right to approve or decline any adoption applications that do not meet the organization's adoption criteria, as determined at its' sole discretion. PPAH is a foster-based non-profit rescue run solely by volunteers. The application process can take a few days with the verification of vetting, residency, and references. We appreciate your patience. For more on our policies visit our website www.ppahrescue.org/adoption-info/
