Captain Hook's Story

Meet Captain Hook (a.k.a. “Hopper”)

Ahoy there! Captain Hook is a 5-year-old brown tabby with a big heart, a brave spirit, and a story worthy of a true sea captain. This handsome fellow is FeLV+, which means he must be an indoor-only cat, but he can happily live with other animals and runs his ship with confidence and charm.

Captain Hook is also a proud tripod, having lost a leg due to a past injury. His foster family lovingly nicknamed him Hopper, because he gets around like a pro—no peg leg needed! He moves confidently, has no trouble getting in and out of the litter box, and doesn’t let anything slow him down. This captain has already weathered the storm and come out stronger.

He can be a little shy when you first come aboard but give him time and you’ll quickly earn his trust. Once you’re part of his crew, Captain Hook truly drops anchor. He is incredibly affectionate, loves to snuggle, and is quite the chatterbox—always ready to tell you about his day or call you over for some attention. His sweet, talkative nature is guaranteed to make you melt faster than a pirate’s heart finding treasure.

If you’re looking for a loyal first mate with a soft purr, a gentle soul, and plenty of love to give, Captain Hook is ready to sail straight into your heart. All he needs is a safe harbor and a human willing to become his favorite crewmate.
